Chapter 1

Jin moved rhythmically to the music, feeling the deep tribal beats run through him as he tried to ignore his partner. The powerful, deep drum beats mixed with techno vibes reverberated through him as he closed his chocolate colored eyes, shutting out the uncoordinated moves of his tall partner. The man was beautiful enough for him with deep sapphire eye and a lithe body that should have been graceful. Should have been, yet wasn’t. Jin’s eyes snapped open as an elbow hit his arm painfully, causing him to repress a deep sigh. His partner danced on oblivious to his actions as he jerkily moved on the black and white checkered floor.

Keeping one eye on his partner’s flying appendages Jin began to scan the club for other possible partners. He wasn’t about to take this clumsy, awkward man home with him despite his looks. He couldn’t even begin to imagine the horror of taking such an uncoordinated man into his bed, if only for a night. He probably wouldn’t come out of it alive.

Unfortunately it was a slow night and few of the people in The Panther caught his eye. This was unusual since it was rare for nobody to catch his eye and even more strange that there weren’t at least a few people vying for his attention. He was after all a well know photographer, even if relatively new, and he was still one of the most talented and sought after photographers at the moment, having made a name for himself with his unique style and charisma. Combined with the fact that he was completely gorgeous, with long, bleached blond hair and warm brown eyes set in a perfectly sculpted face that even his models envied, it was unusual for him to have trouble finding a partner that he liked. The Panther was normally a perfect stalking ground for him. It was one of the most popular clubs in the city with top of the line service from the sexy staff and elaborate two story octagonal building to live music on the weekends from some of the hottest bands. and a hefty cover charge made it exclusive to only the wealthiest of people. In short it was one of the most sought after clubs to gain entrance too. Yet despite that he was coming up empty on finding someone to take home with him.

Gracefully twisting away from a dangerous arm that came perilously close to his mid section, Jin cursed softly and decided to change tactics. He closed in on his partner, spinning to back into the man’s lean, rock hard body that was totally wasted on such a klutz. Jin grabbed the man’s large hands, moving them to his lean hips and guiding his partner as he lightly moved his body against the man. Now it was considerably harder for his partner to hit him with any force, although their bodies bumped uncomfortably in all the wrong places as the man failed to fit his dancing to Jin’s lead.

Wishing the song would come to an end, Jin caught a pair of sapphire eyes boring into him from under a pair of small silver rimmed spectacles. Jin’s own eyes roamed over the staring man with approval at what he saw. Although dressed conservatively in a navy blue sleeveless turtle neck shirt, that clung to the man’s lean athletic body, and loose black pants he still managed to exude an aura of sex.. Short, inky black hair framed a serious face with the most full sensual lips that made Jin desire nothing more than to feel them on his now excited body. His clumsy dancing partner was completely forgotten as he lost himself in the man’s azure eyes.

His staring friend was far from the kind of man that usually caught his interest being far too serious and conservative, yet something about the deep and almost passionate gaze mesmerized Jin. It wasn’t until the song come to a merciful conclusion that Jin realized his new conquest wasn’t alone. A stunningly attractive woman walked to the man’s table and leaned down to kiss his cheek, obviously laughing. When Jin saw the smile that totally transformed the man’s face into something spectacular he knew without a doubt that he had to find a way to get the man into his bed, despite the fact he was with someone else.

Jin left his partner with a brief uninterested smile, already forgetting him as he headed upstairs to Cho’s office. If anyone was likely to know about the staring stranger it would be Cho, who was always knew all of gossip about the regular and not so regular customers of The Panther. Often Jin thought the only reason the man had built The Panther was so he could gossip about his customers and, of course, find hot men and women to fill his bed. Without even knocking Jin entered the room, knowing that if Cho was entertaining he wouldn’t leave the door unlocked. He’d been entertained by the man more than a few times himself.

"Hey brat," Cho greeted him with a grin.

Jin laughed, strolling across the soft beige carpeted room and around the small black lacquer desk to lean down and kiss the older man, running his fingers through the long black hair that was beginning to gray a little on the sides. Cho had been his first lover and had always been rather special to Jin. With his deep booming laugh and large gentle hands, the man had helped him through the difficult maze of his own sexuality and confusing welter of emotions, taking his doubts and fears and blowing them effortlessly away. If Cho knew how to do one thing, he knew how to listen- and like Jin he was an insatiable man, who was always a compatriot in looking for new sexual experiences. Although unlike Jin, Cho didn’t confine himself to men alone.

"So what brings you running up here? It wasn’t your last dance partner. Was that assault and battery I saw out on the dance floor?" Cho teased, his long fingers interlacing as he put his elbows on the desk and rested his chin on his hands.

Jin snorted, looking at the various monitors that displayed the actives of the club below for a glimpse of his intend prey. Cho watched with an amused expression, waiting patiently for Jin to point out the object of his lust and knowing him well enough to have guessed nothing else would bring him up to Cho’s office so quickly.

"There, who is he? And how do I get him away from the girl?" Jin asked, pointing at the man he had caught staring at him.

Cho studied the pair for a minute frowning, then shook his head.

"Why him? I’ve never seen you take an interest in someone like that. He wears spectacles for heaven sake!" Cho asked after a minute.

"More like he took an interest in me. His stare is enough to make me hard," Jin said bluntly. "Come on, please tell me. You know something."

"You know I don’t know everyone that comes into my club," Cho said mildly.

"Cho come-on," Jin begged, certain the man knew something.

"Jin you had to be seeing things. There is no way that he was staring at you," Cho said with a sigh.

"The girl?" Jin groaned.

"No, not the girl. She’s a female version of you. Out with a different guy every night, she’s one wild woman and the man’s sister," Cho said.

"Sister?" Jin said looking at the two, comparing them closely and suddenly noting the little things that we similar between them.

"Yeah, you’d have better luck with Ayako than Dai."

"Dai, hmmm? I like it," Jin murmured, looking them over as he rolled the man’s name in his mind, pleased.

"Earth to Jin! Come in! Forget about it," Cho said, exasperated.

"Why? If she’s his sister..."

"The girl isn’t the problem. If Ayako is the wild one, Dai is the capable mature one. He doesn’t sleep around Jin and is totally straight. Ayako said he only dates women he is serious about. He lost his last girlfriend in an accident a year ago and Ayako has been trying for six months to get him with someone. He isn’t about to go home with you Jin," Cho explained.

"Ayako? Cho have you tasted the sister?"

"Of course, she actually managed to beat me at the game," Cho said ruefully.

Jin laughed, imagining the girl seducing Cho and actually managing to wear the man out. What kind of man was this Dai to have such a sister? What little Cho had said only intrigued Jin more. Dai was a challenge. A challenge that Jin couldn’t wait to take on.

"Dai?" Ayako murmured as Dai stared at the staircase leading to the second floor of the club.

"Oh, what?" Dai asked, turning this attention away from the now empty stairs.

"What on earth has gotten you so absorbed? You were staring at something through the entire last song," Ayako asked curiously.

"Nothing," Dai said with a shrug, looking away from his sister.

"Yeah right. Come on, spill it. The only things off in that direction were things that don’t interest you, like brunettes, tall women, and a gay couple. None of which are your preference for partners," Ayako said.

Dai laughed softly, adjusting his spectacles and not wanting to say anything yet. His sister was far too perceptive when it came to him, although normally she was too flighty and self absorb to realize what was going on around her. It was just like her to scan the entire dance floor where he was looking just to find out what would catch his attention. Sometimes having an older sister that was obsessed with him was a little annoying.

"I’ll tickle you," Ayako threatened playfully.

"Be serious Ayako," Dai retorted sternly, though spoiled by an indulgent smile.

"Dai," Ayako growled mockingly, getting up to make good on her threat.

"The gay couple," Dai said, his finger circling the rim of his glass on the table.

"Now I know you’re teasing," Ayako said as she advanced on him.

"Ayako, we’re in public," Dai reminded her, looking around.

"So? It’s perfect, I know how you hate losing your dignity in public and acting like a kid. So talk or I’ll..."

"I’m serious Aya. The guy with long hair. Did you see how he moved?" Dai explained.

"But he’s ...a guy," Ayako said, shocked at what she was seeing in his face.

"Yeah, but with all that hair and he is almost too pretty to be a guy," Dai mused.

Ayako’s peals of laughter drew attention to them from the people around them. Dai frowned, unsurprised by her reaction. He had never been interested in men before, preferring small delicate women with long straight hair. To be honest with himself he had a fetish for long hair and graceful lithe woman that were comfortable in their own bodies. The man that Ayako had caught him staring at was exactly that except for one small problem, he wasn’t a girl.

"So my baby bro likes boys after all?" Ayako teased.

"I’m not your baby brother. You’re less than a year older than me," Dai said tartly.

"That isn’t the point."

"There was just something about him Aya. His partner was horrible yet despite that his body flowed completely smooth and gracefully. I don’t know… he reminded me of you somehow," Dai said, trying to find the words to explain the inexplicable attraction. "He is free Aya and I don’t know..."

"Gotcha. I understand Dai, probably better than you do yourself. So what are you going to do?" Ayako asked, stealing his glass to take a drink of his cocktail

"Nothing," Dai said with a smile.

"Oh come on Dai. Go for it. That’s why I dragged you out here in the first place. You’ve been alone for far too long," Ayako urged.

"Let me get this straight. You’re actually encouraging this rather debase desire I’m having for someone of the same sex?" Dai asked, mildly amused by his sister.

"Of course, I’m the queen of debase desires after all. Besides, it’s kind of hot to think of my brother sucking cock," Ayako grinned mischievously.

"Sometimes you really scare me. Are we sure you’re my sister ?" Dai asked, shaking his head.

"Of course, I just got all the naughty parts is all, and you got all the brains. Now what about this mystery guy? Where did he go?" Ayako asked, scanning the dancers.

"Upstairs."

"Well then get up there."

"No, I’m waiting," Dai said with a small smile

"Waiting? Waiting for what? Him to go home with someone else?"

"Of course not. He noticed me Aya," Dai said smugly.

"So?"

"He’ll come. Even with you here he’ll come," Dai explained with a certainty that brought a shocked look to Ayako’s face. "Don’t worry Aya. I don’t plan to leave alone tonight. Although unlike you I do plan to sleep alone."

"You’re no fun. What’s the point?" Ayako snorted.

"One day Aya I hope you’ll find out exactly what the point is of waiting to fall into bed until you love the person," Dai said, reaching out to brush a stray lock of black hair away from his sister’s face with a sad smile.

Jin slowly walked down the stairs, his eyes traveling toward his target. He was still sitting at the same table, although his sister had disappeared while Jin had grilled Cho on all the information he had about Dai. The name rolled around in Jin’s mind pleasantly. Unfortunately he still didn’t know much about the intriguing man. Cho’s interest had been on the sister and not the brother he had never meet. Not only that, their fling had been brief although mutually satisfactory.

The two nuggets of useful information that he had gleaned from Cho were less than encouraging. The man was completely straight and completely serious. Dai Ikeda was a famous writer who had managed to get three full length novels published, as well one historical drama that was to be made into a movie soon. Not only that, he was a genius who had graduated high school in his early teens. He was a responsible, level headed man who believed in love rather than lust- the total opposite of Jin. Yet despite that Jin was intrigued. There was something about the intense gaze that made Jin determined to pursue the man. Drifting over to the bar he ordered a drink, watching as a petite raven haired beauty approached Dai.

Jin cursed the girl with a soft growl. She was far too attractive and he immediately wondered what to do. He had never had to compete with a woman before since straight men had never piqued his interest. Unlike Cho he liked his partners to be experienced and know exactly how to please him in bed; preferring not to have to teach his partner. Leaving his drink untouched he casually strolled over to Dai’s table and without a word interrupted the flirting woman by grabbing Dai’s upper arm and hauling the surprisingly tall man to his feet.

"Hey!" the girl protested.

"Sorry," Jin smirked and draggedthe unresisting man out to the dance floor.

"I’m Jin," Jin introduced himself, pulling Dai to him briefly.

Jin watched in surprise as the man chuckled, his hand lightly touching Jin’s hip, pulling him close as his body began to move. An immediate surge of overpowering lust ran through him, taking him completely off guard at its power. It wasn’t long before the rhythm of the dance moved Dai’s body away from his own. Unlike his last partner Dai’s movements were far beyond anything Jin had expected. The man moved better than he did, his body flowing from one move to another effortlessly. Jin was amazed that for the first time in a very long time he wasn’t the one in control of the flow of the dance. Dai led him with ease, their bodies touching occasionally and sparking flames of desire everywhere they connected. When the music came to its inevitable end Jin felt a pang of aching loss as he watched Dai turn to leave. Unwilling to let the man escape so easily he reached out and grabbed Dai’s wrist, pulling the tall body against him as a conveniently slow song started.

"Are you going to release me?" Dai asked mildly, his sharp sapphire eyes holding Jin’s own.

"Nope, you’re mine for tonight," Jin said cockily.

"I believe the girl I was talking to had other ideas," Dai replied, his arm draping loosely around Jin’s shoulders despite his words.

"Her delusion," Jin shrugged.

"And mine?"

"No, I don’t think so. You want me," Jin said confidently.

"More than you want me?" Dia countered with a dry laugh as Jin moved his hands lower to caress the man’s incredibly tight ass.

"Definitely."

"We shall see," Dai replied and with a deep smoldering look broke away from Jin, walking back to his now empty table.

Jin stood on the checkered dance floor as people danced around him, confused as he stared at Dai’s retreating back. Dai was supposed to be straight yet he hadn’t outright rejected Jin, in fact he was sure the man was interested in him. The way he’d moved against him, the look in Dai’s eyes wasn’t fear or repulsion. Yet he had easily left Jin on the dance floor, something that nobody had ever done before. His pride warred with his lust as he watched the man take his seat again. Lust won out finally as Jin followed him over to this table.

"I win?" Dai asked, with a small half smile.

"You win this time," Jin qualified.

"I always win," Dai responded.

"Perhaps," Jin answered with a grin.

"I’m Dai by the way," Dai said, looking over the rims of his silver spectacles, his eyes intense.

"I know."

Dai looked at him quizzically yet said nothing. Before long Jin found himself squirming under the curiously silent question.

"I asked my friend Cho who runs the Panther."

"I don’t think I know him," Dai mused.

"Your sister does."

"I should have known," Dai sighed.

"Wanna dance?" Jin asked eagerly, impatient to feel the man close to him again, his body still burning with lust.

Without a word Dai rose gracefully from his chair and held out a hand for Jin. Jin looked up and froze as he saw the same smile that he’d seen when Dai looked at his sister was now directed at him, making his heart flutter.

The night passed in a haze for Jin, filled with an endless string of music and Dai’s warm body. Jin had rarely spent a more enjoyable yet frustrating evening. Every move, every touch Dai made inflamed not only his body, but his mind. Dai effortlessly took the lead from his hands, directing and guide him subtly without words on the dance floor, something few could do. On the brief breaks they took the man verbally spared with him, rising to his barbs and even out doing him with his quick wit. Yet despite this every single time Jin tried to get close to him with kisses or a mild touch of his more intimate regions he was deflected gracefully yet firmly. Regardless of his sensuality on the dance floor, Dai remain as chaste as a virgin girl.

"It’s getting late," Jin remarked idly.

"Yes, I should call a taxi," Dai said, flipping out his sleek black cell phone.

"How about I give you a ride?" Jin asked teasingly, arching a brow.

"Are you sure? I can always call a taxi," Dai asked, ignoring the innuendo that had been evident in Jin’s offer of a ride.

"Sure, if you don’t mind a motorcycle? Do you?"

"Why am I not surprised? No, I don’t mind," Dai responded.

Jin laughed, leading them out of the club and winking at Cho, who was flirting with a young bleached blond man near the door. Jin led them out to his sleek black Yamaha bike with a smile as he watched Dai look it over.

"No helmet? Isn’t that against the law?" Dai asked.

"Not unless you caught," Jin answered with a boyish grin.

"Come on wild child, before I change my mind," Dai sighed.

"Where to?"

Dai gave him the address as they climb onto the bike. Jin grinned as he felt Dai’s arms wrap tightly around his waist, the man clinging close to him. Jin took off and sped through the streets, thrilled with the way Dai clung tightly to him, his whole body plastered to Jin’s.

"Slow down you manic!" Dai shouted over the wind that whipped around them even as Jin laughed.

It was over too soon as Jin pulled up to Dai’s huge apartment building, looking with a more than a little regret and even more hope that the night wouldn’t be ending so soon.

"Thanks Jin, it was a very enjoyable evening," Dai said as he got off the bike.

"What, no invitation to come up? Not even a kiss?" Jin asked, rather offended.

"Jin, I enjoyed the evening a great deal," Dai murmured leaning down, his hand cupping Jin’s cheek as his bright azure eyes gazed into Jin’s intensely.

Jin watched mesmerized as Dai leaned down; his full, sensual lips brushing against his own for a few seconds before pulling back. He looked up at Dai, desperate to keep the man from leaving.

"Can I come up?" Jin almost pleaded.

"Not tonight, Jin. But call me," Dai said, turning to leave.

Jin watched desolately as Dai started to walk away, unable to believe he had been shot down, yet instinctively knew that the man wasn’t going to allow him access to his body no matter how hard he pushed. Dai suddenly turned and looked at Jin with an intense expression on his face.

"Soon Jin," Dai encouraged as he disappeared through the glass doors, leaving Jin both confused and aroused.
