Comment: I love this story. the names are well thought
. But i don't understand why the name Horse Lords. I mean a horse is
not a so special animal. Is it because horses are so important to
them?
Author's Comment: It is because horses are important
to them. The original idea for this story revolved more around the
tribe of people who were mighty warriors who revered horses. I had
meant to make this story a longer more complex story where I would
have explored the culture more but in the end I chose to focus
completely on Ari and Nighteagle's relationship and make a shorter
more compact story. The next chapter deals a little bit more about
the importance of horse.

Author's Comment: You noticed Nighteagle didn't
specify anything, it's going to cause problems later one. I was
pleased by the goodbye scene as well, it turned out to better than I
envisioned it to be.

Author's Comment: I have always thought it would
be interesting to have two warriors who were proud and strong come
together. I wanted to make Ari far from the traditional uke, I think
I succeeded at least a little in that.

Comment: wow. You never have a dull moment in this
story. I like that Nighteagle isnt just some evil leader, but that
he is also a good man in a way. Very interesting characters!!! love
it!
Author's Comment: This story really did end up being
all about the characters. When I first began to think about it
I had a wide epic plot line but I ended up cutting it and focusing
entirly on Ari and Nighteagle instead:)

site. I actually didn't think to many people would you it, so
I was kind of surpised to find that a lot of people liked it.

Comment: Great story. I love it when two strong men get together.
It was a little out there that the whole clan would get over
their taboos so fast but for the length of the story it was
acceptable. Dont stop writing, new things and working on the
old... mostly Dragon Boy. Love that one.
Author's Comment: Actually it wasn't that they got
over their taboo, just nobody was going to make an issue of it after
witnessing those two's skill with a sword and Ari's rather blunt
offer to take anyone on :) If I do decide to do a squeal at
least the first part will revolve around the trouble both of them
will encounter having a homosexual relationship within the Horse
Clan.
