He is a little of both. He handles all of the healers of the Hawks when on campaign but in his personal life he tends to be more of a follower.

He isn’t very strong, although he is quick with a sword. His curiosity gets him into trouble sometimes. He isn’t good at reading people and dealing with emotional problems.

He is a good healer and catches onto things quick. Under pressure he is able to buckle down and work even better than usual.

He has one younger brother back in his home town and several nieces and nephews.

History:

He apprenticed a local healer at the age of fifteen and learned the basics of herblore from her. At the age of eighteen he set out to find adventure unwilling to stay in the small town he always had know. It wasn’t long before he ran out of money and accrued a debt. He worked for the next three years trying to pay off the debt and save enough money to once again travel. When the Hawks attacked the city he was staying at he did what he could to heal the wounded both mercenary and civilian. Corrin the leader healer of the Hawks was impressed enough to offer him a position within the mercenary band and pay off his remaining debt. Kelas agreed excited at the thoughts of traveling once again. Three years later Kelas took over for Corrin on campaigns and commanded the healer’s unit.

He has had two serious relationships in his life both ended naturally. The first was when he was fifteen he fell in love with a girl named Jen. He briefly considered staying and marrying her but the temptation to travel was more powerful. When he was twenty-four he was fell in love with one of the men of the Hawk. The young man was several years younger than Kelas and after a time they grew apart and parted amicability.
