Comment: I wasn't for sure how well I was going to like this story, but so far so good. :) Sunhawk even has a reason to keep him now! He's a healer!! Do the hawks at the end of a name mean something or is it just coincedence(sp)?

a coincidence although Shadow's tattoo does have mean which will
come to light later in the story.

Author's Comment: That scene was
rather spontaneous but I think it turned out rather good. I wanted
to show that Shadow loved and wanted to heal whether it was someone
he knew, a stranger or even a dog.

Author's Comment: Ironically this whole chapter was created because of a mix up with the artist I had working for me at the time. This picture was originally to be the end of chapter 2 where Sunhawk got hit by the arrow and Shadow healed him. It totally didn't fit the image in my mind so I purposely created this chapter to fit the picture. It turned out to be a really good chapter to flesh out Sunhawk's character more.

really hard to delete the stories from efic since I knew there were
a lot of readers there but I think it was for the best. I tried hard
to submit this site to as many search engines as I could and put in good meta tags so people could find the stories again. I’m always happy to hear that people are enjoying The Hawks since it really is my baby and out of all of my stories it is the one that holds a very special place in my heart.

the first in a new arch of the story dealing with Shadow, his
goddess, and magic. Although Teal will drop out of the story
for a while he will return to stir up trouble later for the couple.

and am thrilled to see you have added on to the story. Loved it rated it five stars would give higher rating if I could.***not crazy about the rape***:( but in all a good story.

I'm glad that you could find the story again. The rape was one of
the harder scene for me to write since I knew that it might turn a
lot of people off to the story. Still it was also a very important
part of developing the relationship between Sunhawk and Shadow, and
deepening Sunhawk's character. I hope you continue to enjoy the
story as I continue to write about these two different men and how
they work out their differences.

Shadow. And who is Argoth and why did the guard say
Sunhawk belonged to him? I bet it has something to do with why
Sunhawk left his homeland. Like maybe he was given to the
god and refused or something.
Author's Comment: Argoth is
the God of War, basically the guard assumed that because Sunhawk was
a mercenary that he worshiped him. Sunhawk isn't the type to
dedicate himself to a god although that doesn't mean that they
aren't going to interfere with him :)

I seem to have a thing with cliffhangers for some reason, and I know
it is cruel since it usually takes me a month to update a round of
each story. The next chapter will probably be a lot longer since it
definitely won't be a cliff hanger :)
